Born and raised in LA, I was influenced by my Mexican-American upbringing, the movie magic of Hollywood, and everpresence of community in my life.
By the time I got to college, I knew I wanted to change the way we market to women, specifically underrepresented women in the US. With my B.A. in Advertising from Pepperdine University and internship experience, I dove into freelance as a social media manager.
My journey led me to champion women-owned brands from underrepresented communities, amplifying their voices to wider audiences. This work attracted major brands like HBO Max, TurboTax, and El Pollo Loco who sought authentic connections with our community. Wearing multiple hats, from content creator to social strategist, I thrived in bridging these partnerships while advocating for the businesses I believed in.
Eventually, I decided it was time for change and I was ready for the bustling energy of New York. Here, I work bi-coastally as a Social Media Manager at Fuse Media, a multi-cultural entertainment company, while also co-founding City Señoras, a self-care social club with my roommate.
Through it all, I’ve discovered that my passion lies in developing creative strategy that deeply resonates with multi-cultural audiences, with community-building at the heart of everything I do.
